first entry

well i read so many blogs, i figured id write one too. i dont really know what to say or start with...

or if ill even invite anyone to read this...

well a  bit about me to start, though i expect if youre reading this it's because you know me lol :)

im the mommy to 2 beautiful, amazing, angel girls. almost 7 years old and almost 4 months old
different fathers, different situations, both long stories
but the best, most perfect, exactly right loved thankful for blessings that could have ever happened to me

i grew up in small town BC, currently live in big city AB

definately considered low income, but really i have more than enuf and im grateful for everything i have

number one other than my ladies, is my family.

my mom
my dad
my sisters
my brother
my nephews
my grandma
my aunts
my uncles
my cousins

im so very very lucky

ok maybe this is getting long? maybe ill think up some amazing insightful cool post next. or ill just post a million little ones. im thinking that im making this instead of posting super personal maybe too over-sharing statuses on facebook. maybe it'll just be my personal journal. or for those who i think will really understand or care what im feeling in my heart, on various subjects.

yeh
yeh thats it

:)

  1. Let me be the first to comment...yay! I found your blog via Welcome to my Brain (love her!) and linked b/c you are from Calgary. I am also from small town BC and live in small town Alberta. Just thought I'd check your blog out. Keep it up! If you would like to look at mine (why does that sound creepy?) I am at http://marcia-miraclesdohappen.blogspot.com/

  2. thanks for the comment on my blog! Never in my wildest dreams did I estimate that what I had to say would be useful to so many. It is so heart warming to know that other people "feel me". Thanks!

  3. you left a comment on my blog about a blogger you miss following. Perhaps this link will reconnect you: http://finishingoffmyfamily.com/

names are changed, we've been asked to NOT link or mention the connection between the old blog and this new one.

  4. hi, I found you through Laurie blog and though I would say to a fellow BCer, I grew up on the island and then moved East as a young adult and here I stay, east that is. Many of the blogs you comment on are in my circle of friends so I thought I would connect with you.

  5. hi j, thanks for commenting! i havent really gotten into blogging yet, i think its a toss up between "what would i say" and "do i want anyone and everyone able to read and find what i might say" lol but i do love reading blogs and interesting that im drawn to adoption, foster care, special needs etc type blogs even tho personally my life is nothing like theirs in terms of the above factors, but i am a mom and i think my main connection lies in that i believe my younger daughter's dad is a sociopath, so i think subconsciously i "enjoy"/have alot of respect and admiration for parents of children who COULD have grown up to be like him, but now have a fighting chance NOT to because they have parents in their corner. i suppose its one of those things where i want to... whats the word, bear witness? acknowledge, support, love some comment love to those families living through struggles that i can only imagine.

again im glad you commented! ive also seen your comments/heard of you "around" bloggy world lol but didnt realize you were canadian! i usually go from blog to blog, finding one i like and reading from archives to present day- add to google reader and onto the next one, so gueeess who's gonna be my next one?! lol "see" you there!
